Freeway Billboard
Designed both digital and static freeway billboards to promote Día de Muertos at Thanksgiving Point, balancing festive color with clear, high-impact messaging. The goal was to celebrate cultural vibrancy while ensuring quick readability for passing drivers. The design extended the event’s branding system and was adapted across formats for both print and LED display specs.
Día de Muertos – Entrance Facade
Hand-illustrated a large-scale, retablo-inspired facade to welcome guests to Thanksgiving Point’s Día de Muertos celebration. Designed in Procreate and inspired by traditional Mexican folk art, the artwork features lively calaveras and floral motifs printed on vinyl and applied to a custom-built wooden frame. I worked closely with the facilities team to bring the structure to life, and collaborated with the events coordinator, who added painted black light accents to make the design glow after dark. The result was a bold, joyful entrance that honored the spirit of the holiday both day and night.
Animated Graphics for Digital Media
Created a set of animated social and email graphics for Día de Muertos, designed to share event countdowns and thank-you messages in a celebratory and culturally respectful tone. Illustrations were developed in Adobe Illustrator, then brought into After Effects for subtle animation to enhance movement without distracting from the message. These animations were used across social platforms and email campaigns to extend the event’s brand presence digitally.
9:16 Animated Promo
Designed a vertical animated promo to advertise Día de Muertos across digital displays on the Thanksgiving Point campus and social media. Built in a 9:16 format for maximum screen flexibility, the design used subtle motion to bring elements like candles, papel picado, and text to life without distracting from the core event info. Illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator and animated in After Effects to match the look and feel of the broader campaign.
