Literature in the Garden

This garden exhibit paired storytelling with scent, immersing guests in the world of Ellis Peters’ Brother Cadfael series. I illustrated each element by hand in Procreate—including herbs, blossoms, and decorative borders—to echo the medieval herbalist theme. The designs were formatted in InDesign and printed on ACM panels for outdoor durability. Interpretive signs featured direct quotes from the books and labeled plants central to the series, blending literary excerpts with botanical education in a richly visual experience.
